Are you interested in having fun, meeting new people and being an ambassador of science literacy? Consider becoming a Science Center volunteer! We greatly value our volunteers who are willing to share their time, expertise and experience. The Science Center offers volunteer opportunities for adults, teens ages 14 and older, and children at least 5 years old (accompanied by an adult companion).
• Free parking in the Science Center's lot during your volunteer shift
Please download the appropriate application below, complete and return it to the Volunteer Center via mail, emai here, or fax (502) 561-6145. You may also contact the Volunteer Center at (502) 561-6100 ext. 6141 or send an email to request an application.
All volunteers are required to submit an application, attend an orientation session, and participate in area-specific training. Adults age 18 and older must also complete a background check prior to signing up for their first volunteer shift.

*Note: Teens interested in volunteering at the Science Center June-August 2013, will attend a special orientation session in May 2013. See VolunTeen Program, Summer 2013 below for details.
After attending volunteer orientation, you are eligible to participate in area-specific training sessions. Click here for a list of current training opportunities. You may sign up for more than one training session. Additional training dates will be added to this page later this fall.
