CAPTAIN CURRENT
The Science Center comes to you with a turn-key program that not only meets critical state standards in energy and energy conversation, but can be delivered to up to 500 students in one day for less than $2 per student!

Do you have what it takes to defeat an electricity vampire? With the help of Captain Current, we’ll show you how to track down where energy is wasted and learn how to battle these voltage villains. Learn more about this new traveling program here.

Pulse of Surgery

Back for its third year, this state-of-the-art program brings students into the operating room at Jewish Hospital via videoconference. During real-time heart surgery, students will interact with the surgeon, nursing staff, perfusionists, and others while learning about the procedure, the tools used, and the techniques that must be mastered in order to perform a successful open-heart surgery. Program includes pre- and post-visit curriculum guides.
