"THE NATURE CIRCLE" NATURE STORIES

Nature Stories is an interactive group time made up of nature-themed stories, designed to introduce young children to nature in a fun and safe environment. The fun-filled hour of activities includes a nature story, hands on activities and exploring the outdoors.

DIRTFEST

We will dig, sift, romp and sort through different types of dirt while we learn what is lurking in the muck and what dirt is made of!

FAMILY CAMP

Families will explore nature from the ground up. We’ll start in the soil and end high in the trees as we discover nature all around.

SPLASHFEST

Grab your bathing suit and be prepared to get wet as we splish and splash with water science! Young children will have a hands-on experience exploring the mysteries of water and water mixtures.

• Take I-64 East to exit 19B to merge onto I-265N/Gene Snyder Fwy
• Take exit 23 for Taylorsville Rd.
• Turn left at the end of the ramp
• Turn right on to Hatmaker Rd.
• Veer right to stay on Park Rd.
• The John Floyd’s Fields Community Building will be on your right
after you enter the parking lot.

• Drive approximately 1.5 miles and enter the park on the right across
from Valhalla Golf Course (by turning onto Beckley Creek Parkway
