It's a new way to explore the Science Center with your family!  Check out a kit of materials designed to help you explore animlas, their unique characteristics, and habitats with adventurous activities at the Science Center.  You'll also receive activity cards to try at home and at the Louisville Zoo.

Explore creatures that fly, flap, float and swoop.  Find out why different types of birds have different types of feathers, how weather patterns affect animals, and the many ways animals communicate with one another.

What is your favorite food?  Animals have favorite foods, too!  Investigate why certain type of foods are suited for specific animals.  See if you can tell what kinds of animals have been lurking about, just by examining food remnants that were left behind.
